Aura of fear
Mar. 6th, 2003 11:22 amA random coworker, while passing me in the hallway, just made a cross with his fingers at me and said "Sign of the Cross...ooh, Dracula."
I'm dressed purely Land's End inoffensive today: green turtleneck, black cotton slacks, red socks, black shoes. My Roman erotic talisman's tucked under my shirt, just like it should be.
I think I may be projecting stuff I don't mean to again.

Date: 2003-03-06 08:36 am (UTC)I'm actually a little jealous. No one's ever done this to me. The closest I ever came was when a ten-year-old stared at me on the bus once, and then slowly, deliberately, held up his hand and made bunny ears with his fingers behind his head. I still don't know what he was trying to tell me.

I still think it's a case of someone being weird.

Date: 2003-03-06 02:59 pm (UTC)Don't be too worried...
Date: 2003-03-07 01:47 pm (UTC)Seriously. They stand and stare up at me with a "oh my god what is that it's going to eat me" expression, then usually hide.
Of course, some adults give me that reaction, too...
