What sin makes you grin?

I've been wanting to make a poll for a while, 'cause I can, but I wasn't sure quite what I wanted to do. But now [livejournal.com profile] daveqat has inspired me...

[Poll #82491]

As a note (in response to responses to the third question), apathy is the main failing that the sin of 'sloth' represents.

That makes sense. Maybe sloth should be changed to apathy. Because one can be non-lazy (as in, do a lot of things) but still be apathetic about the world in general. And one can be physically lazy but still care and do other types of things to help the world in general. I dunno, that's the way I saw it, anyway.

Lust would have been by #1 choice, if it weren't for the fact that I'd need a partner to appreciate it. :P And greed is similar... it just doesn't do me any good if I can't fulfill it.

Envy and anger are both pointless and painful.

Gluttony can be nice, but I generally regard eating as a necessary chore rather than a rewarding activity.

Sloth is fantastic, but only in moderate doses... too much sloth can get awfully boring.

What does that leave? Pride! Pride rules. Why's that a sin again? :D

the joy of gluttony

Apparently gluttony is actually a much broader sin than I had originally suspected; the desire for alcohol and other drugs apparently falls under gluttony.

Possible 8th deadly sin?

Yes I know my enemies
They're the teachers who taught me to fight me
Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission
Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite!
