So, if you spent 99 cents (plus $6.00 S/H for about a buck worth of packaging postage) on an item from eBay which turned out to be complete crap (chain broken, locket charm fused together with some sort of goop and requiring serious scrubbing before it would open, made of nickel or pewter when it was billed as sterling/marcasite), would you bother complaining to the seller/leaving negative feedback, or would you just figure you got what you paid for?

(EDIT: I left her a comment with my complaints. I'm not sure what exactly from her would satisfy me, but if I don't get it within 24 hours, I'll leave negative feedback.)

(EDIT 2: She offered me my choice of returning it for a refund, including a shipping refund when I pushed for that, or a replacement piece for free. I took the latter, since I don't want to bother with shipping, and it'll work if I clean it up and put it on a new chain. I am planning to leave neutral feedback saying that the item was not as described bt the seller was flexible about making things right.)
