I have no excuse indulging in a "tell me stuff" meme when my real content has been so low lately, but I kind of need it right now to feel reconnected to the universe.

If you don't mind, please post a happy or funny memory you have of me. I need to remember a little more about my context with people, and to feel a little better about the path of my life to date.

I have lots and lots of happy and funny memories of you, but one I was just telling cathijosephine about the other day was when I shared with you the love letters I'd written to a girl who'd broken up with me in high school. You started reading and said "Oh, Jay, this is so sad!" with a twinkle in your eye. A few paragraphs later, you said "Oh, this is so sad! This is tragic!" and burst out into laughter.

(Speaking of my romantic troubles, I remember that you were the only one of my friends who actually told me that Christy Smith was bad news. Everybody else thought it, but you were the only person who actually said so. See? That sort of thing is why you rule.)
