Perhaps I've imagained this, but...
On the way home from work, I heard a report on NPR that the makers of Meow Mix (the cat food with that wonderful mind-eating jingle) were sponsoring a TV show aimed at cats, with birds and bugs and pictures of other cats and such, so cats wouldn't be bored alone in the house. I'd heard of videos that have more or less the same thing, but nothing ever planned for broadcast before.
This is clear evidence that there are way too many TV channels available.
Our cats are all going to get obese and unhealthy from not going out and getting exercise, just like our children.
When I was a kitten, I used to run around outside and catch real birds and play with strings! All you kids do is sit there staring at that thing and ripping up the couch...
Then again, I can't find any record on this on either NPR's website, or the Meow Mix website. Did anyone else hear the report? If I'm going to be inventing radio news, I certainly hope I can do quite a bit better than Meow TV.
