Trying not to go get a third piece of the giant, sugary, bright blue befrostinged cake somone plopped on the Table of Free Food outside my office is taking up way way too much of my mental space this morning.

I've actually asked my boss for a meeting this afternoon in which I'm requesting to be given some additional project work. I think they're probably just trying not to tax me and all. But it leaves me too much time to think about cake.

Bright blue frosting? Doesn't that tend to be kinda... bitter and chemically? Or have they discovered some sort of special frosting magic?

Well, the blue color doesn't taste like anything in itself. But you are right, it's often a flag for bad frosting. Doesn't matter, thoguh. This is pregnancy we are talking about.
