There's a special family recipe for spaghetti that's made with tomato sauce, and ketchup, and way too much butter, and garlic salt, and powdered American cheese (which is really hard to get these days except by starting with packaged low end mac-and-cheese). It makes you sick if you eat too much of it, which I usually do. My father used to make it for me when I was young. It's awful, by any objective culinary terms but sometimes, I still want it. You've reminded me.
