Do this linguistic study! Get money!

Ten bucks per call.

A computer called me last night, and I chatted with a nice woman about censorship for ten minutes. Supposedly now they send me a check.

EDIT: My PIN is 61179, if you are the kind of person who checks off that little box marked 'M' on forms, and you want me to get an extra buck.

In other news, I was sick for all of the holiday and a bit beyond. I was not able to convert this experience into any amusing text, though I almost had something to say about the fact that out of the three movies I got on video to keep me in bed, two of them had someone changing their mind and running off with the protagonist and not her safe tedious boyfriend, after the wedding dress was already on. Does anyone know (first hand) of a case anything like this in Real Life? I certainly don't.

Oh Gods... tell me you didn't watch "Runaway Bride". My deepest sympathies, hon.

Nope. "The Guru" (which I actually quite liked) and "Secretary" (which I didn't).

No, but there's some people I certainly wouldn't put it past...

I don't suppose you'd share your PIN with me, so that I, as a Male Participant, can earn you some extra money by signing up?

This sort of thing is very much up my alley. Honestly, I'd probably enjoy this even if I weren't paid, just to be helping with research and talking to a person at random.

Strangely, despite having gotten calls already, they have not yet sent me my PIN, and I wanted to put the link out for anyone scraping Anthrocon money together. If you want to wait a day or so, hopefully it will show.

If you want to toss the dollar my way, use 55541. Or wait for [livejournal.com profile] beetiger, who should have her PIN soon.

Today's topic was "health and fitness"--the conversation was a bit choppy, but mercifully they wanted us to talk about exercise, which he and I both do, rather than diet or something.

Yup, seen it happen. She left him at the altar not once but three times. He finally did give up.
