CrowdsourceTarot for Samhain

bard_bloom and I have decided that we want to have some physical decks for the Crowdsource Tarot with which to read at Samhain. They are going to be text cards, hopefully aesthetically pleasing, or at the very least clear to read from. So this week I get to be Layout Girl.

We're just going to have decks for ourselves right now, but if this works out well, we could probably make them available to everyone going forward.

For the card backs, I wanted to use a collage of small user icons from the word and art contributors for the deck. If you participated in the project, but do not want your icon used in this way, please let me know.

ETA: This is going to be fussier than I want right now, so I'm going to use an abstract for the reverse for the first demo deck. I'll check in with you all later on permissions!

I will more than happily donate one of my user icons to this project, however, only two of them are completely my own work. They are the moon and the wolf one used for this comment. Though I think the wolf deserves some credit for it.

For my icons, feel free to use Tape, but you probably shouldn't use the others - the reason being they're all copyrighted and I'm using them without permission. I shouldn't even be doing that. Yes, even the exclamation mark; I lifted that from EVE Online. Tape is my work, though, so if you're really that desperate, help yourself.

Neat idea! The pic of my back is probably the best one. moonwolf took it, and I'm sure she'd love for it to be used in this way. Add me to the list of people who do have some icons that may or may not be completely kosher, too. :-)
