Two texts from the Sacred Concerts, by Duke Ellington.

1)Freedom is a word that is spoken and sung,
Loudly and softly all around the world,
And in many languages.
The word freedom is used for many purposes.
It is sometimes even used in the interest of freedom.

2)Freedom is sweet, on the beat,
Freedom is sweet to the reet complete!
It's got zestness, and bestness,
Sugar and cream on the blessedness,
No more pains, no more chains
To keep me from being free.
Freedom is sweet fat and that's for me!
