What I can remember, after commuting

It really was coherent at the time, even when I woke up, but not I'm mostly left with a few images. Still, I think perhaps it is worth writing down. awolf, you have permission for interp if you like.

It was a class. You could get these steaming hot dimsum rolls from this big metallic vending machine, and I kept getting these wonderful little rolls with carmelized onions and bits of barbecued pork in them, though I knew I shouldn’t because I was watching my carbs. We went on the VR rollercoaster thing like we were supposed to, then I went to the airport to get the plane I needed to get. I had to go downstaris because the upstairs ticket area was closed. The escalator was very long, and Bard told me that the pink amethyst stone for the ring I was supposed to get was still at the jeweler, and I probably couldn’t use it for my event and it would end up going to my friend Suzi for her wedding and this kind of disappointed me although I was happy for her. I realized I hadn’t brought my e-ticket printout, so I figured I had to buy another ticket to go to California. All of the people on line were playing castanets made out of oyster shells, which seemed to make sense but still it was noisy and that’s how I realized I was on the line for American Airlines and I was supposed to go on Delta. So I went to the other line which was shorter and I could tell it was the right line because Julia was there. I bought my ticket, which was still only $211 like on the internet so I was happy. Then the teacher asked if we all did the exercise of buying our tickets on the internet and I said that I had researched it on the internet but found out it was the same price direct so decided to buy it here, because I was embarrased to have had to rebuy the ticket and I wanted him to think I was clever. He seemed pleased.

The funny part is, I told sythyry I had complicated dreams, and it turns out he had as well. And his dream also had a wedding ring with a pink stone in it, though it was otherwise unrelated.

The dream suggests mild travel anxiety, coupled with mild anxiety about meeting social obligations. This is a sign that you probably travel a great deal, sometimes with Julia. I wish there were a deeper psychological pit to probe in this one, but there isn't. :)

The pink stone may represent a view of personal commitments in your life being related loosely to sexuality, but this is a sketchy interpretation at best. The oyster castanets are a sign of mild anxiety, but the rest of the dream already reveals this. There's not much about the inner conflicts in your mind from this dream because there aren't any archetypal actors on stage, aside from Julia whose role is minimal from the description. It may be assumed that your sense of your relationship with her--or of friendly, intimate relationships in general--is based somewhat on "reliance" on a close friend as a "guidepost" to where you are in life. But this is also a rather obtuse extrapolation based upon limited data.

2) Not too interesting, but probably right on. The new commute, and concomitant lack of time to do things I've promised people, have been weighing moderately heavily on me.
