Oo, we have relatively little overlap - interesting :)
psongster is seriously smart and knows lots about things i am interested but don't know a ton about. I also respect her handling of her chronic illness stuff a great deal.
dracosphynx is a very smart and good person, and I hope to meet up again! shatterstripes is so witty and talented and I'm amazed she talks to me when she should be off with super stars or something! chipuni is sweet if a little forgetful! melskunk, ladyperegrine, perlandria, susandeer are people I want to talk with more! It's all revar's fault that I've seen too many bad web comics, but also so many good ones too! bard_bloom's merits are obvious of course. And lots of other people who I've probably missed, or know off elsewhere but don't recognise, are really great too!
OK, there are over fifty people I want to write about on here, and I do not
have that much energy. I started to do them all, then fell over, and then picked a few at random.
akycha and heavenscalyx sound like intensely
cool people that I have a good deal in common with and I'd really like to meet
sometime.
(IC, for one) bard_bloom is the most available translator for me, and sometimes
manages to actually communicate what I'm trying to say or how I'm trying to
say it.
gavinfox radiates enthusiasm. It's a shame we can't harness
it as a power source. (... wait a minute...)
koogrr has impressed me a lot in various writings and
roleplays and such; he is a very cool person.
nekojin ... I'm sorry she's dead; I'd've liked to know her
better.
Underneath a lot of boisterous energy, bossgoji is a kind, warm, thoughtful person who really understands and exercises moral agency. lediva lives up to her name. She is a cat goddess of the first water... er, the first sand. bard_bloom is a great, hilarious writer, and is also expanding the sphere of human knowledge, which is kind of a kink of mine. :) aprivatefox is the first positive exemplar of the "entrepreneur" character class that I've met, and an all around great fellow.
a private fox - I always enjoy chatting with you on gmail. You have a gentle perspective that's refreshing.
barberio - I like hearing about your perspectives on world events as someone who lives in Great Britain. :-)
bard_bloom - You are so high-energy and fun to be around. Much more so than you realize, I think.
cargoweasel - You are an awesome DJ.
chipotle - In addition to being one of my best friends, you're just objectively a terrific writer and person. I feel so incredibly lucky to know you.
circuit_four - You remind me that literary is not a dirty word in regular contexts, and remind me that it, umm, can be in others. 0:-)
dracosphynx - I really enjoy looking at your artwork, and I miss some of the cool conversations we've had.
foxmagic - I miss your rapid-fire thoughts and interesting analysis of...everything. We should get together more.
hellesfarne - You have a very sweet face and are easy to talk to.
indicoyote - You are the most huggable person I've ever met. Everytime I *think* about you I want to hug you.
koogrr - Sometimes I think our internal demons are close friends. ;-) You can always make me think, and laugh, and you're an amazingly deep and intense artist and friend.
magnifelyn - We haven't talked nearly enough lately, and it sounds like both of our lives have been a bit crazy. You make me feel less alone. Thank you so much for such a beautiful gift.
mind_traveler - He won't see this, because he never reads LJ. Which is good, I guess, because I have no words for how much he means to me. ♥
momentrabbit - You're a relatively new friend, and already a very dear friend. I enjoy reading you and appreciate your support.
mufi - I really look forward to meeting you when I come to Seattle.
nukewolf - I hope you have as much sweetness in your life as you deserve. (That's probably impossible, but still. :-) )
postrodent - I miss you and our long conversations on gmail. :-)
projectmothra - You are the sweetest four-year-old I know. I can't wait to see you when you visit!!
pyat - I love reading your journal, particularly when you write mushy stuff to velvetpage.
quarrel - I really like the person you are, both by yourself and when you're with shaterri. Looking forward to spending lots of time together in May.
rowyn - I really loved your Nano novel. I hope you'll continue with it at some point.
shaterri - You've given me an appreciation for so many new things, from music to maguro to math (though I'm still working on that last). I'm a much richer person for knowing you, in so many ways.
tuftears - I'm still grateful that you helped me finish Nanowrimo. And you're a terrific power gamer. :-)
varjohaltia - I'm really glad to have gotten to know you a bit. You're friends with so many of my favorite people, and from the little we've interacted I can see why. :-)
velvetpage - I'm in awe of how much you do and how well you do it. I want to be just like you when I grow up. ;-)
I was feeling really misanthropic and bitchy at the time, actually. :-) I thought writing a bunch of nice things about people might actually help...and it did. I pretty much did everyone on Bee's list that I felt like I knew well enough to say something nice about.
And I really do miss those characters and I'm interested to see where you take the whole concept of signs. It's almost like the live action version of tarot? :-D

I hope I continue my NanoNovel, too
