I have accepted a one-year contract position at Cadbury Schweppes, in their European Beverages Group, starting November 4.

If they have an Employee Purchase Program that includes Cadbury Creme Eggs, I may be in serious trouble.

I expect to be able to be more productive on my personal writing, reviewing, and editing projects than I have been during the period when I in theory had a lot more time. Overcommitment and busy-ness seems to work for me.

I still do not know how to job-hunt, but I seem to be job-prey.

Congratulations! Believe me, I know JUST how you feel right now. :) I hope that you make wonderful new friends at the new place, and that perhaps the planets will align right, and you find permanent gainful employment at a cool place. (Darnit, all these OTHER people seem to have real jobs for like DECADES and stuff, why can't we?)

Funny how it's possible to get more done now that we have actual jobs than we could when we didn't? But I know what you're talking about there, too. :)
