Mew!

free to good home -- about half a pound of cut and sifted catnip. It's a little old -- I'm discontinuing it from the Mother's Hearth site because I don't sell it quickly enough, compared to the powdered. It's a little old, but still perfectly good for making tea, or stuffing cat toys. For some reason I feel inspired to offer it here. First comment gets it.

I'd love some, but I don't know how much half a pound is... any dimensions? My place is kinda small...

More than a quart ziplock, less than a gallon.

If it's still available, yes please!!!

You might have trouble unloading this; there's a lot of cheap, high-quality Moroccan catnip, pre-rolled into toy form, moving into the urban East Coast. With this glut on the market, kittens and more mature users are increasingly disdaining the raw leaf and stems, preferring the "spacemouse" that's readily available in popular feline hangouts, such as in clusters of trash bins and underneath parked cars. :)

I don't know, I bet I could make some primo stuff () out of this.

Hmm... kitty crack, okay, but is kitty crack made with _toluene_ really a good idea? Talk about your soap bars...
(Also, apologies to Vicki for this thread. :))

It's okay, I'm not giving it to either of you. ;)

Kidding aside, our house cat is very very picky about catnip. He only likes this locally grown organic catnip. Seriously. He plain out ignores anything else.

Bah! A little industrial solvent never hurt anyone. I mean, you're probably breathing in more toulene and benzene right now then would be left after the evaporation process.

...

I'm not sure if that's a statement about the safty of the procedure or the sad state of affairs in fuel additives in America.

We could always use more, as we have Freya (and occasional houseguests), and we won't let it go to waste.
