I really enjoy houseguests.

beetigerComing off of a really lovely visit from rowyn, who is smart and funny and cuddly and just all around really nice. She motivated me to get together with sandramort and her kids, who moved to New York a while ago and with whom I've been planning to meet but never had managed it. (She's rowyn's old roommate.) That was fun and I hope that now we've met we'll see each other again soon. She and I went to dinner with another friend of hers, who also was pretty engaging. :) She also NPC'd in the tabletop Terrible Butterflies game, since the online version is so much further along, and brought a lot to the game.
I generally like having houseguests, androwyn was a pretty easy one, with no real special requests except Diet Coke, pretty good flexibility around our family's needs, and the ability to win the projectmothra seal of approval. I'm glad to have gotten the chance to spend some time to get to know her better, and I hope we get to see her again at some point.

And... the world is a tiny, tiny place. I just barely missed being flatmates with Rowyn and Sandra Mort. (Sandra took pity on me when I was homeless one summer, and brought me in as a sub-let.)
