Ninety Days:Body Heat (Day 8)

Body Heat (Day 8) Body Heat (Day 8)
We came home to a nonfunctional oil burner and a 37 degree house, right around bedtime. I cuddled my son to sleep in my bed, which took a long time.

Can you boil pots of water when awake? How about space heaters? That's how I heated my house this winter, my furnace went a few months ago and I haven't been able to fix it.

I can keep it just either side of 70, thankfully.

We did have a small space heater that we dug out, which helped a lot. And we had the furnace fixed within a few hours. But still, tough bedtime.

Yowtch and I thought it was bad when it got to around 60 one bedtime...not anymore though. And I hope the worst is over.

*hugs* You have my sympathy

Yuk. I would have complained bitterly to the heavens. Vast sympathies, and I hope the problem with the heater proves swiftly and easily fixable.

DeLonghi makes a very serviceable electric space heater, the radiant kind with no exposed element; I used one when my gas was out last winter. Highly recommended.
