Beetiger argot

"Right, it's as small as peas."

Playful shorthand for conceding an argument because you just don't feel like having it, and it doesn't really matter anyway.

From a Roz Chast cartoon titled "Wimpy Mom", in which the aforementioned mom reads to her toddler: "Dinosaurs were VERY VERY big." "NOOO! THEY ARE NOT!!" "You're right, they were as small as peas." (What a wimpy, wimpy mom.)

Watching the local news

Apparently there was an armed robbery of a meat delivery truck outside the little grocery store down the road from my house this afternoon. They also stole the guy's pants.

Really, I can't make this stuff up.
