Friends list cleanup

I'm feeling like my flist is a little cluttered these days, especially with a lot of folks from whom I don't hear a lot these days. Do me a favor -- if you aren't posting much/at all, but are in fact still reading and would like to keep reading the occasional friends-locked stuff, would you please comment or drop me a line? No drama requested or required.

This is particularly directed at people who post in their own journals less than once a week. This isn't so much a "are you listening to me?" post as a "are you still using LiveJournal?" post. I'd hate to drop someone that wasn't inactive, but just mostly receptive.

ETA2: And yes, I read you all. No reading filters for me.

Kindly 'scuse the minor wiseassery, but how does someone who doesn't post clutter your friends list? Granted, it's silly to continue with someone who's abandoned LJ, but it's not like there's a quota, like with interests...
