So much for costuming this year

Well, the new custom catsuit lediva ordered for me because I'm too fat to fit into my other one just came in, and it's way too small in the torso. Apparently I can't measure myself for crap, which is rather bad for someone who seems to be really strangely sized and likes to order stuff long-distance.

Would anyone who can manage to get into physical proximity of me at some point and knows what the hell they are doing on this kind of thing be willing to take a full set of measurements of me at some point moderately soon? Swaps of favors or merchandise and much appreciation on my part are available.

I could take this opportunity to flirt, but there's nothing I could actually do to help in the slightest. I've never been able to take anyone's measurements even close to accurately.

A woman who works at Lady Grace once told me, "Half of all women wear the wrong size bra." I replied, "That's very interesting. Can you show me some figures?"

But seriously, a woman who posted in a community on the flist of a friend of mine (A FOACOAFOAF?) had posted a while back that they (Lady Grace) didn't do such a great job, and she got a second opinion that differed by a whole number and a whole letter. Good luck getting a quality ... job ... done.

Well, it's not her anymore -- she sold the business -- but I have in fact had good luck with her sizing in the past (she did my pregnancy suit), and I was aware that they have reopened. I'm still thinking of digging out the old design for an otter suit I worked on with Suzanne years ago. But not unless I actually get workable measurements first.
