Just got a big pile of herbs and incenses from the Pacific Northwest in, and now my house is all gorgeous cedary smelling.

Can't wait to start making winter incenses!

Oh, well, cool. That's much easier. Hyacinth is a flower which is nearly impossible to capture, either by drying or by extracting essential oil. Hibiscus, however, is easy. I sell powdered hibiscus on my website. It has a gentle sort of tart cranberry aroma and a lovely pink color. I use it to add a pale reddish tone to rolled incense made with light woods, and it works well for the holidays with peppermint oil or with evergreen woods.
