Fighting off an infection, and trying to get set up with a new doctor (having discovered when I tried to schedule an appointment that my old doctor is no longer practicing) so that I can hopefully make progress on getting what I’m pretty sure is sleep apnea diagnosed and treated. Oh, and procrastinating looking for a housemate for when Tom leaves in a month.
At this very moment, I'm veryifying reports at work.
In general, I'm enjoying life before school starts again. I'm reading books, knitting hats, and cracking out on Animal Crossing. Charlie and I just joined Netflix, so I'm watching lots of movies. It's great because all the "oh yeah, I wanted to see that but never did" movies come to my door. We have about 100 movies in our que.
Also, we're debating on this wedding thing. There's a strong temptation to just go to the court house and do it rather than wait until May.
If I can make it until Friday, and turn in grades for -- and thus decide the fates of -- 36 summer-school students without going on a killing rampage, I will count that as a success.
Oh, you know, this and that. :-) What, you want more details? Okay, okay... unfortunately, work's been a lot of it; FW isn't getting enough of my time lately, partly because of work and partly because of some poking about at Perplex City (blame Jason and Sylvia for getting me into this one). Touching up my resume a little bit, pondering doing some job-hunting at some point once things settle down here. Unfortunately, nothing really of note.
This week I'll be finishing Calc I(With a lower grade than I'd like, unfortunately.), Intro to Art (A+ Wooo! I now know more than I ever wanted to about Issami Naguchi's Red Cube!) and Microeconomics (My first 200-level class, and hopefully a big-fat A, barring accidents or problems!)
After that, it's three weeks off, then Fall Semester starts, with my first honest-to-god computer classes, Calc II and Physics! Woooo!
i was being mopey and sulking around, but im working my way out, i still cant bring myself to een hold clay or a tool, let alone make something... planning for my drivesr test, at 25 and being a previous driver, i should not be so scared.
and i sent you mail, it should be there any day now
I just got it, actually! You are the most mondo super generous! I can't believe how much stuff you sent me. I'm wearing the green and gold butterfly now. And all those ring bases -- I'm going to have to figure out something cool to do with them.
And the "official" swap -- the hairsticks -- are gorgeous. I hope I can figure out how to support them in my hair. Those things are solid!
hehe i was actualy thinking those cute little stone magnets you sent me that one time, the stone wiht the picture, on the ring would look way cute!!
and the hairsticks theyre very solid, yes, i make them that way so they can even hold hair when its wet (as i usualy like using mine when i have wet hair)
just twirl one around your hair, and slide it though, then use twirl the other once or twice and slide it though, it holds good :)
Gah, I just had this conversation with my mom the other night! Work, eat, sleep for the most part...getting ready to ship the kid off to her Aunt's in Atlanta.
Well, when I'm not tending the the cat we're sitting for the time being (an orange tabby named 'Odin'), and not stressing over work and the scary amounts of thins going on there, I'm pouting that my fox is 3,000+ miles away, closer to you.
A fair bit of writing, mostly on my current novel and some online RP. And keeping current on LJ, for a change. :) I'm reading Gaiman's American Gods but haven't gotten that into it; I've been nominally reading it for a week and am still only halfway through.
Oh, and I'm itching; poison ivy appears to have gotten me while I was mowing the lawn, despite long sleeved shirt gloves, and pants. Sigh. :(
I've been really kicked in by this job hunting, and the weather here has been really brutal, so I've been trying to keep a grasp on my sanity. In the process, I've been discovering some things I don't like about myself, drawing a batch, reading a batch, rediscovering my love for German as a language, rediscovering my love for Jack in the Box's milkshakes, and sleeping at very weird hours.

Writing.
Writing.
Not all for fun. Very little for fun, actually. Lots of hemophilia, diabetes, central nervous system, and arthritis.
But there's been some Utena writing. Some original writing. Some sleep.
Really, my life is pretty boring. I keep hoping it'll stay that way.

Thankfully, that changes by the end of next week.
