A Night in the Red Gargoyle Inn -- You're Invited

"You and your fellow adventurers gather in the Red Gargoyle Inn. A mysterious cloaked stranger buys you a flagon of wine, and offers you a chance to spill blood and win glory..."

You're invited to Stormhoek and D&D Night at Chez Gargoyle! We'll have the Inn, where you can taste fine, exotic Stormhoek wines, eat fine, exotic Chez Gargoyle bar food, and play fine, exotic board games. And we'll have the Arena, where you can bring D&D characters for tabletop sparring with each other or a variety of fine, exotic monsters.

Details

• Come in costume and in character if you like.
• The event is Saturday, June 10. Guests are welcome any time between 5 and 10 p.m. Overnight lodging is available in the inn for long-distance guests.
• Characters for duelling should be level 3 or 12 in D&D 3d or 3.5th edition. Pregenerated characters will be available if you don't want to bring one.
• Duelling is optional.
• Wine-drinking is optional.
• Bad fake medieval accents are optional.
• Character Guidelines for Duelling
  • Third level characters get 3,000 gp worth of stuff. Twelfth level characters get 12,000 g.p. worth of stuff.
  • If you use books other than the core books, Savage Species, and Draconomicon, the Blooms might not be able to DM the duel.
  • If you use any other characters, like from a real game -- D&D or World Tree or whatever -- the DM will do its best, but don't expect a fair fight.
• Be nice to Stormhoek, and blog about the event afterwards, and mention the wine.

Man, your other friends are only half the gamers I expected then ;)
D'yah think we might be able to visit for a day or two the weekend after the event to end all bloggy events? I promise to blog about it ;) Or will the three of you need quiet time?

If we can schedule it, sure? What dates were you thinking? I've got a not yet completely firmed up thing at some point on the weekend of June 16th, but we can likely work around i. Drop me email and we can see if we can work out some details.
