I can't figure this one out
Lourdes Jewelry, the 1950's era-styled jewelry store in a little strip mall that I drive by on my way home has not closed, oh no. But the sign above its door has been changed to "Lourdes Jewelry and Fly Fishing".

It might make more sense if it were "Lourdes Jewelry (Jewelery?) and Ferret Fishing"....

Do they have a "live bait with gold chain purchase" sign?
I'll have to take a look at this place next time I'm in the area ;)

Oh, a thought.
There are lots of fine-motor skills often needed to create pieces of jewelry. I believe tying flies for fly fishing also requires fine-motor skills.
I'm assuming the owner decided to incorporate a hobby into the primary business.

Wow. That's right up there with a place in Indiana: "[Name]'s Dog Obedience and Taxidermy." (Sorry, I can't remember the name right now.)
