A birthday party for the firecat
Aug. 17th, 2002 10:00 pmIf you were coming to my house tomorrow, you would get to eat:
Zaru Soba (Buckwheat Noodles in Soy)
Tod Mun (Spicy Fish Cakes) over Cucumber Salad with Chili-Garlic Sauce
Rempah-Rempah (Coconut and Beef Patties)
Miniature Shrimp and Lobster Spring Rolls
Inari Sushi and California Rolls
Shrimp, Beef, and Chicken Satay with Coconut-Peanut Sauce
Salad with Orange-Sesame Dressing
Chana Saag (Spinach with Chickpeas Curry)
Thai Chicken with Basil and Hot Peppers
Lamb Biryani
Spiced Baked Fish with Yogurt
The Cake of the Forest of Felines
and Alcoholic Sno-Cones.
Actually, if you were to show up any time over the next week, you could probably eat these things. I have, once again, cooked way way too much food.
