My poor sweetie!
Aug. 12th, 2002 12:45 amIt's much much more convenient to fly out of White Plains from here than from any of the "real" NY airports. Most of the major airlines fly business commuter routes from here, and in the last year prices have actually been coming in only a few dollars higher than for LaGuardia or Kennedy, as opposed to the $100-$250 more which was typical before that. Something to do with the changed face of air travel in the last year, I'm sure.
The disadvantage is that it's a small airport, with a limited number of flights and low priority; there aren't too many alternate options if things get screwed up.
Poor Bard is stuck in a hotel in Pittsburgh, halfway home from GenCon, instead of here at home. and since it's after midnight, it's his fortieth birthday today.
My eyes are spontaneouly closing and I'm flopping over in my chair. That's a clue that I should probably go to sleep, right?

Yuck!
