For National Coming Out day, I am sitting quietly in my house. My baby is sick, and sleeping a lot, so we've cancelled our morning picture appointment and our afternoon playgroup and are just taking it easy.

I haven't made a big point about being queer to my family, or my new mommy friends. I realized I haven't said a lot about a lot of things to my new mommy friends yesterday when my girlfriend did the "safe" version of telling people at Rhys' party how she knew me, "from her gaming book", and the moms didn't know/didn't remember what she was talking about.

A complete life, and people who know us and love us. That's what we all need.
