Advertising with the H-bomb
I got a flyer in the mail today advertising a BBC-produced language program for children. It actually looks like it might be decent. But the ad copy really annoyed me. It's titled "Smart Kid Secrets" and shows a picture of a cute kid captioned "Debbie at 2 1/2 when her parents first introduced her to our program.", next to a picture of a wholesome looking young lady dressed in crimson captioned, "Debbie at Harvard today."
I really want to send them a kid picture of my girlfriend captioned "This child was raised on a media diet of Voltron and Scooby-Doo" and an adult picture of her, with bright pink hair, flipping off the statue of John Harvard in the Yard captioned "Julia at Harvard today."
Unfortunately, there's no postage-paid envelope.
