I am a huge fan of vanilla as a falvour (especially "good vanilla" which seems to usually be labled as "French vanilla" or "vanilla bean" here) and really appreciated this post. Must of it was news to me. Heh.
BTW, the new french vanilla truffles at Godiva are just fabulous.
