1) Logging in to check my personal email and LiveJournal before logging into my office Lotus Notes, even if I've arrived late.

2) Bringing my breakfast to work rather than leaving myself enough time to eat at home.

3) Walking down the hall to the pilot plant guys' office with feeble excuses, but really just to get Tootsie Rolls they keep in a beaker there.

4) Reading other people's LJ entries over and over without posting, just because I'm feeling in a fog.

5) Dreaming about tiny chihuahuas kissing. Well, actually, this isn't really a habit, but it was an odd piece of last night's dream. I can't quite figure out how, if at all, it might relate to the cramping pain I've had in my left calf since about 2 am.

The chihuahuas are warning you not to massage your calf lest you get the DVTs.

as to #5--have you ever read the erotica/porn novel "LeatherDaddy and the Femme" by Carol Queen? (it's something for everybody sex-positive fiction). I'm sorry, but I flashed on the dog story from that book with your reference to chihuahuas. It's not my favorite turn on from the book, but...

I usually find myself read my friends LJ entries again and again. Though I end up saying nothing and writing nothing for fear of saying and writing the wrong thing.

Hum...maybe you should buy your own tootsie rolls? (grin)

Donate bag of rolls to build good will, allay fears of being a mooch and keep the whole bag away from your desk?
A circulation pumping, mind clearing stroll is good for work.
