* Spell your first name backwards - ikciv
*The story behind your lj user name – bumblebee was taken. The character Bumblebee, my primary furry persona, is a dryad in the form of a tigress who also functions as a beehive and bee queen.
*Are you a lesbian – If you think that one’s sexual orientation is defined by who one sleeps with, then I’m a lesbian more or less on alternate weekends and school holidays. Otherwise, I’m more in the pansexual mode. (Yes, I like cookware.)
*Where do you live – The dreaded godawful suburbs of New York, in a house with yellow siding, and the most wonderful apple trees.
*4 words that sum you up – Coo coo ca choo
*Wallet – I keep making a small one with just a few things in it, but it always expands to bursting, and I can still never find my driver’s license quickly enough.
*Hairbrush – About four of them, scattered around the house. I misplace them when I travel. They are full of hair, since mine seems to prefer being in them to on my head.
*Toothbrush – Probably should be replaced.
*Jewelry worn daily – A diamond engagement/wedding ring, a watch with a loose clasp, a two-thousand-year-old Roman talisman.
*Pillow cover – About sixteen of them, some of them in matching sizes to the pillows. I like pillows.
*Blanket – Mine! All mine! Including yours! If there are not enough, I will pull my bedpartners or any random items on top of me for warmth.

*Underwear – Bikinis and thongs in bright cotton prints. I like to be festive.
*CD in stereo right now – On Yoolis Night, Anonymous 4, in the car.
*Tattoos – In my mind, there is a complicated image of two snakes twining around a flowering staff, the crescent moon caught in its branches. It belongs on my back, at the kundalini spot, but unless the right artist begs me to do it, the activation energy to commit may never be high enough. The modified plan which may actually get past my chickenshit level soon is a small bee on my ankle.
*Piercings – Just the ears. I prefer to find other ways of being holy.
*What you are wearing now – Purple and black print skirt I bought in the airport in New Delhi, to use up the rest of my rupees. A black velvet shirt with long sleeves. A pendant which is supposed to be a tree with a malachite stone at its base but which actually looks like an alien with a green nose when worn over dark clothing.
*Hair – Should I chop it off and donate it to Locks of Love to make wigs for sick children, or will short hair just make my own hair loss more noticeable and pathetic?
*Makeup – Rarely. But when I do, it’s tiger stripes, or big swaths of glitter eyeshadow and dark purple lips. Fuck subtlety.
