Utterly unfair
Sep. 30th, 2007 01:39 pmI have this nasty-cough-that-maybe-is-bronchitis-i-guess-maybe-i-will-go-to-the-doctor-if-it-isn't-better-in-a-few-days thing. We just told
projectmothra that we weren't having snacks between lunch and dinner, and that he needed to go outside and play and not play video games, but I'm secretly waiting for him to go out with
bard_bloom so I can eat some fudge that
read_alicia gave to us and then play Elebits.

Hope you're enjoying it.

Date: 2007-10-01 01:52 pm (UTC)One of the benefits...
Date: 2007-10-01 02:24 pm (UTC)... of being the adult in teh relationship is being able to choose what you do and have it be DIFFERENT than what the child does.
You are an adult. You are completely free to choose to have fudge for all your meals for the next $arbitrary_time_period if you care to. That is completely orthogonal to what your child can/should/needs for lunch.
Now, I'm emphatically NOT addressing the sensibility or usefulness of the all-fudge-all-the-time diet. Just the potential.

who IS, in fact, allowed to have a drink with both sugar AND caffeine in it
whenever she wants.
(but rarely does, cause she doesn't do sugar of any sort much)
