Summer Fun
Jul. 29th, 2007 07:57 pmSince
projectmothra kept bugging me because I took
lediva to an amusement park this summer, but I hadn't taken him,
bard_bloom and
projectmothra and I drove out to Dorney Park on Saturday. Rhys was very excited to go on some rollercoasters ("I've never been on one before!"), and over the course of our conversation I was stunned to discover that
bard_bloom had never been on one before either. (I have no idea how I missed that over the course of the last eighteen years or so.)
So Rhys and I went on the Woodstock Express and Dragon Coasters, which are good for 3-year olds to go on with a responsible adult, a description which fits me moderately well if not perfectly. He loved them. He went solo on the Little Lazer, which was only for people under 54" tall (I'm short, but not quite that short), and he really loved that. Rhys also took Bard on the Dragon Coaster, which is good for somewhat novelty-resistant adults to go on with an enthusiastic child. Bard did not like it. So I think once he hits 48" or so, I'll have a new coaster-buddy.
Today was supposed to be our waterpark day, but it was raining to the point of flooding out the roads, so we came home instead.
projectmothra is incredibly flexible about things like this, so I'm very lucky.
Tired now.
