First impressions

So, I'm doing a little bit of an update of my profile on One of Those Networking Sites. One of the questions they want you to answer is "The First Things People Usually Notice About Me". Of course, I've kind of known me for a while, and when I asked Bard he agreed that he really hasn't had a first impression of me for a long time. So, I come to you.

Please only respond if you've met me in person, especially if our first meeting was relatively recent (within the last 3 years or so) and you only know me modestly well. All comments screened so people don't influence each other. I'll unscreen in a day or two for any curiosity seekers, unless you mention in your comment that for some reason you'd rather I not. Feel free to include the kinds of things that I might not want to put up on a dating site; I'd still be curious to hear them.
