Monochrome mornings, meaningless memes

The day-lilies that grace one of the roads near my home in abundance this time of year are quite nearly the same bright shade of orange as the construction vehicle that was traveling toward me and taking up half of my lane this morning on the same road. I managed to run into neither, but only barely.

Even though I know it was meant to sound ridiculous, I enjoyed hearing someone saying "one nation, under Zeus" on the radio.

I really prefer the Googlewhack game to this – ailurophobic catfish, anyone? – but people I actually respect have been doing it, so I've finally succumbed.
